Fill in the yellow zones! Or if my current plan isn’t good lmk that too and we can start over 😆.

For the sake of argument assume that the flow will appropriately direct the sweepers away from one another (I believe this island will mostly receive an upward pulsing flow from the end-of-loop, top to bottom gyre that runs clockwise in this photo). Not pictured is the right half of the tank which will receive the brunt of the flow and plan to place easy sps on it.

Which coral could sit on this big shelf below the torches which would be mounted along the ridge? I assume the chalice (red) will eventually encroach upon this shelf and need maintenance.

What about this bottom yellow zone? Kinda shaded and probably lowest flow zone in the tank.

Gonis would look good there!

I bought a cheap Duncan to test so I’ll probably take this advice to start and consider the ghonis later down the road.
If you end up wanting gonis a great canary in the coal mine is alveopora if you have succes with them then you’ll do great with gonis
