I've decided to replace an old accessory 48" t5 actinic with an LED strip. My tank is 72" wide, 18" deep, and 25" top to bottom. Currently I have a 4 bulb 60" T5 with Geismann bulbs and I believe I need some extra umph to light the sand. Do you think 2 LumenBar 32's would do the trick?

I just tried to purchase the LumenBars, had the link to PayPal, then sat down to eat dinner. Now the link is gone! Sold out?

Hey,

The LumenBar 48 may be a better fit- you have a 72" tank so a set of 32s on either side of the light won't make much of an impact outside of the middle of tank. If you run them both on the same side of the light, they should replace a 6 foot T-5 Bulb in terms of power.

They are in stock- we were updating our system around the time that happened.
