I looked into this, and it does look super similar to what he had. I did get live rock for this tank so it definitely makes sense for some hitchhikers to be there. Thank you!Would need a better pic, isolate the crab and take a clear picture of its back if possible. My guess would be a slipper limpet, family Calyptraeidae. These are harmless comensal hitchhikers. They are sessile, meaning they dont move, they attach themselves to rocks, crustacean carapaces, and mollusk shells. Once attached they dont move and simply filter feed out of the water column.
