I have alunare wrasse, about 5-6 inches in a 125 gallon tank. I recently started adding some corals, specifically a frogspawn, torch, and a hammer. This morning I watched the lunare biting pieces of the frogspawn off, trying to chew them, spit them out, and move on. Has anyone else experienced this? Was he simply "tasting" it or should I be concerned about him eating and killing the coral?

They aren’t knowing for eating coral but will knock them over, I’m sure it was just tasting it .

That is a large/aggessive wrasse and they aren't known for being reef safe. Keep and eye on it and if it keeps going for it then get rid of it.
