Not sure if the subject has been butchered many times or not, but I'll post the question here anyway.

What's your thoughts (or experience) in mixing different Anthias species in a tank?

In my exact scenario, I already have 1x Female Lyretail Anthias and hoping to add (for example) Sunburst Anthias or Pictilis Anthias ... is that a good idea or disastrous idea?

Or I be better of, to add more Female Lyretails and let them socialise?

^Very cool. Should note that lyretails and Bartlett’s are both on the “aggressive” side for anthias species... so depending on the size of the tank and harems, might be better to avoid the more timid or reclusive species.

I do recall a member here (I wish I could remember who it was) that had multiple groups of anthias and a nice big tank, and even the peaceful and aggressive got along with a large enough cumulative number. I think with anthias, the more the merrier ;)

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
