I had a 13.5 evo for almost 2 years but I wanted to make the tank a bit bigger and have a little open space sand bed. I also had too many fish for a 13 gallon.
My bookshelf in my office is 30x12 and I love the AIO concept for small tanks.
I broke down the old tank and set up the new over Thanksgiving.
Somehow I am dealing with an outbreak of hydroids in the 13 and I am in the middle of treating with a product called Hydrox. The lady is very nice and helpful and at my 2nd treatment things seem to be getting better. Unfortunately it nuked my pink nepthea, green finger, and toadstool leather. It also seems to have killed my clove polyps, green star polyps and anthellia.
All the zoas, ricordea, acans and other softies and LPS seem to have made it through fine.

Here are a couple of pics of the old tank right before shut down:

So to hold the tank I decided to build an 80/20 stand so that I could just drain some water and move if need be. I also wanted to integrate the light and be able to utilize my deltec MCE 400 skimmer from my JBJ 45.

Quick update. The tank recovered from the hydrox, really want to replace my leathers, I miss them.

Everything is doing ok, but I have just started a fluconazole treatment since I picked up bryopsis from not qt'ing as I should have. On the upside it's day 2 and it it starting to whiten on the edges.

I am up to 6 fish with all of the old crew:tail spot goby

neon goby
possum wrasse
rainford goby
and I have added
yellow clown goby
swiss guard basslet

I have also added some gorgonians fragged from my main tank and a small conch

I made the light mount and a frame to make it portable out of 80/20.

Quick tank update, I am getting near the end of the 2nd week of fluconazole treatment. It worked fantastically . Looking forward to Saturday for a blow off of detritus, dead algae and a 10 gallon waterchange.

I did a 5 gallon WC today. Most things are happy except for the acans that lived through fluconazole and hydroid treatment. I added a test acan that didn't go through the treatments and it seems fine. I have a mild outbreak of aiptasia, but I am using Frank Tank's F aiptasia and it seems to be working.
Some tank shots:

Having a serious outbreak of aiptasia. I just got a 15 watt laser that arrived today and will see if I can get a handle on it. If not, it will be time for bergia. Some shots of the tank:

Peppermints have been 20% ish for me in the past. I got a batch for $70 shipped and it seems to be working.
The numbers are down 30% so far.

This tank has been revived, it's become my one and only since the catastrophic seam failure on my 187. It has 3 fish from my main tank, favorites that could actually fit.
I have my 2 clowns, possum wrasse and a yellow watchman goby that apparently lived in my sump baffle for 3 years. Added an aiptasia eating filefish, neon goby and yellow headed jawfish. I have a pink streaked wrasse on my wishlist to finish it out.
Waiting on a bullet 2 skimmer, and currently have a reactor fuge with chaeto up and running. I'm looking forward to this holding me over for a few years till I get some needed home renovation work done.
