Hey everybody,

After already following reef2reef on facebook, I figured it was time to sign up. I'm Maarten all the way from the Netherlands and I have had a reeftank for three years now. Probably like others I started with a Red Sea Max 130D, which after months just turned out to be too small. Switched to a RSM 250, which I had for almost 2 years until I decided that I was sick of the sump in the back and wanted a custom tank. So that brings me to my current cube tank which is only about 4 months old and is still maturing. I will post some more details on it in the appropiate section later today.

What brings this dutchman here you might ask? Well I noticed that some of the good things in this hobby not only come from europe but more and more from the states. So I hope to learn some new stuff here and maybe improve my tank.

Looking forward to start browsing these forums! :nerd:

He Maarten..... wij verwelkomen jou hier bij R2R.

Haha. Bedankt voor de Nederlandse welkoms woorden. Gaat nog best goed het Nederlands.

Thnx for the Dutch welcome. Your Dutch is still pretty good. My kids set their shoes for st nick, but we are more Christmas people :).

I hardly ever go to the Dutch and Belgium marine forum. I am not that fond of the discussions there. My Dutch reefing hangout is with Dreamreef.nl

Will put up some pics of my tank tnite!

And to everybody else thnx for the welcome!

*Welcome to Reef2Reef!* I find it comical(sort of) that you mentioned the Red Sea pumps.I tried to pull one out the other day and it came apart in two places. It's funny now,but I wasn't laughing then.
