Macbook/ boot camp/windows

When you run boot camp/windows on a macbook, do you have all the hardware?
Main thing I'm wondering about is the wireless connection.
Should I still have it under windows?

Yes you will. You'll need to install the boot camp drivers to make sure you get all the hardware like the cam and stuff once you boot windows up.

The installer is on the disc. Then you can download the updated one from apple and install it. You have to install from your discs first though.

I had a mac guy help me today doing this.
We opened up the boot camp did all the steps there. The did the windows install.
Shouldn't everything be up and working, or is there another step?

It's hard to say what was done. The basic steps are as follows:
In OSX use bootcamp assistent to setup the drive
Boot from the windows disc
Install the bootcamp drivers from the disc
Update the drivers from apple.com

If everything is not working, then steps were missed. Specifically the drivers being installed.

You say I need to put the "right disk" in while in windows.
There are two disks. Both are labeled MacBook, Mac OS X, but one is Install Disk 1 and the other is Install Disk 2.

Which one is the right disk?

Got brave and put the Disk 1 in the drive and it looks as if Boot Camp is installing drivers.
