I have this style of algae reactor. Where the bulb goes into the reactor I have a small drip leak. Maybe 1 drop every 3-4 seconds.

Am I good to just surround where that bulb and pvc intersect with some silicone to stop the leak?

Any other easier ways? I just replaced the bulb, so it should be good for a few years if I silicone it in I think.....

Thanks!

Yes, I think that would be fine. I've used silicone to fix the odd minor leak on various equipment over the years.
I am sure it would fix the leak, the concern for me is if it will damage the bulb long term. I don't want to buy, and probably can not easily find a new one.
