Made my first tank

So today i made my first tank its a 40 gallon tank that i am planning to turn into a reef i have some glass left over so i may make a sump

Why is the glass so dirty looking? Is this a rebuild of an old tank? (I see the thermometer on the glass) Did you just hold it all together with tape or did you use clamps?

Yea its a rebuild it was a 6ft tank that cracked so now its smaller i cleaned the glass as best as i could but it was just sort of a build to see if i could do it and na i used clamps to hold it in place the tape was just for the initial holding together of the tank
