Magic Carpet Help

Please help if you know what is going on with the magic carpet I just got. Look like the mouth is extending way out of the body. Background info: Bought three mushrooms and UPS delivered late, around 6 pm and high temperature for that day was in the high 90. The other two mushrooms along with two freebie mushrooms arrived ok but the magic carpet mushroom was not.
First pic is when it just arrived; second pic is a week after; and third pic is shown on the vender website. Tia for your help.

I have one. They're pretty hardy, so there's that. Otherwise, man that looks bad. Hope it recovers

Thank you. It seems to be doing better every day. Don’t know if I should dip it in iodine again. Last dip was when seven days ago.
