Is there a reason to use one over the other? I noticed with the powder you are adding a fair amount of fresh water (32oz in a ~37g net display) versus just adding a handful of mL with the liquid option.

Currently raising Mg from 1200 to 1300, then will maintain with a 3-part doser.

I'd choose a DIY since Brightwell lacks purity info, but I see no reason to prefer one over the other of those two. The liquid potency can be similar between the two, but both can be diluted if you need to.

Thank you Randy. I thought BRS did a breakdown study which included the powder form?

I don't follow BRS, but magnesium dosing solutions do not, nor do they need to break down. So I'm not sure what you mean.

I meant that they tested popular options for Magnesium supplementation for impurities and Magnesion-P was one of those included.

Ah, OK. It may be a fine choice, but of course, it can change any time Brightwell changes suppliers, or the supplier changes sources, etc.

OTOH, food grade, etc, assures that each batch meets certain standards. :)
