Hey reefers
I’m trying to raise magnesium in my 38-gallon reef tank from 1150 ppm to around 1350–1400, but I don’t want to mess with powders or do a bunch of chemistry-style calculations.
I know a lot of you dose Mag chloride or Mag sulfate, but I’m looking for a simple, no-mix liquid solution that I can just measure and pour in — ideally something reef-safe and easy to dose without needing a scale or converting grams and ppm all the time.
Has anyone used a liquid magnesium product that worked well for you and was beginner-friendly?
Also, any dosing tips (tablespoons/cups or mL amounts) would be super helpful
Thanks in advance!
