Most reputable skimmer manufactures will list the Liters of air in the specs of the skimmer.

so the more air intake the better? so for that reef octo 2000 has a air intake of 700LPH. and the protein skimmer i have currently. i can not find a spec of the air intake for it

Depending on the goal there is no minimum for tank size when it comes to air.

Its either A-body size or B-pump/air volume

has the same pump on both skimmers. the only difference is the body. classic90 is like mine, a cylinder and the classic 2000 is more square/rectangle

Its the device that mixes the air with the water. Its what the air line on your skimmer attaches to at the pump.
