Not my first saltwater tank but apparently my mind is elsewhere today. Should I flip the sump around? Which side is intake, which is outtake with my pump and where should I put my skimmer when ready? Dont mind the white pipe that was just me guessing that was intake. Hopefully its a good picture, not the greatest camera. Thanks in advance

I suppose it doesn't really matter with how your baffles are because water level would be the same no matter what. I'd say traditionally, where the hose is coming into the sump would be the return chamber. I'd make whatever chamber is larger your intake section and you'd put your skimmer in that section.

Yeah I think the white pipe is in the return chamber.

The right side is where the overflow from the tank should go. The baffles will eliminate most if not all of the bubbles.

Highest divider is the intake. I put my skimmer there and other media below with my exterior

Same here.
When I had my sump made, the first chamber was the incoming water and I have my skimmer there. It has a divider that sets the water height for the skimmer. The refugium and pump return area.

Ok so just to confirm I drew in the baffles in black and where water can flow in blue. Is this what we're thinking? Any room for a Refugium at all?

Ok im seeing it now. Fuge was wishful thinkin but it's a lowboy so I'll probably be stuffing live rock wherever I can in there. There's a couple bars along the bigger right side, I think for holding the fleece/filter floss pads (not sure the exact type) what I call a waterfall style filter. Maybe put eggcrate in there for shelving? Thanks in advance for any ideas
