Just generally trying to understand how to connect the overflow, with the sump and add the media reactor off to the side and have it all sent back nicely with my return pump I’m a noob. yeah i realized i needed thesejust looking quick the overflow doesnt appear to be made for tubing so you will either need to use hardline pvc or use a hard pvc to soft tubing adapter like these from home depot (check sizing and threaded vs slip first)

also i followed a simple 10g sump diagram bahaha i swear to god if its wrongdo you have a picture diagram of your sump? just looks a bit odd to me with the very large sections. Did you account for the extra water drained into the sump if the return pump shuts off? If you dont you will very quickly run into a flood on your floor
that’s probably why there’s a drilled hole in my reactor. i haven’t used it yet but i can assume it’s for the small pump’s cord lol. i do have a tiny pump kicking around somewhere that definitely sounds easier.For what it's worth, I had a smaller sump like that and just bought a tiny pump, hung my reactor inside the sump..I ran thr pump in the downtown from tank chamber and the exit from reactor into the return chamber. Much easier than trying to plumb a manifold down there in that corner space.
i have the little fishes one too, can you like show me a picture? i’m terrible with this.No looking at the reactor you have, there should be hoses that connect to the the top. One is in and one is out. The pump would go on the "in" side tube to your reactor. The pump then just sits in the sump. I use a two little fishes reactor and it has a flow valve to adjust water speed. You want just enough flow over the media, but not too much.
That is not right... clearly ones custom application. you can fill those holes with a dab of silicone but I would use it inside my sump to be sure. I use a small Sicci pump you can get at petco for 20 bucks.i have the little fishes one too, can you like show me a picture? i’m terrible with this.

Looking at your sump, The water level looks like it will be too high for both a skimmer and whatever drains down if/when you shut your pumps off. Seems to me about 2 gallons of free space... :grimacing-face:also i followed a simple 10g sump diagram bahaha i swear to god if its wrong
