I just blend my own mix, put a couple of teaspoons of it in a ziploc bag, and spread it around in a thin layer so it freezes into thin sheets. It then easily breaks off into whatever size of piece I need. It thaws in seconds. So much easier than sawing cubes (or thick sheets of mysis) apart.

i cut up tiny pieces while the food is frozen, put them all back in the freezer, then just take out the pieces that I want to feed. I place it in a container with tank water and let it thaw for like 2 minutes. i use a turkey baster to break it up even more.
