Male or female porcelain crab

Hi guys,

I found a mold of my porcelain crab. Can you tell me it's male or female? I would like to give him or her a partner. Thank you!

I would say it's a female. From what I read males have a triangular plate while females are more rounded.
Edit: it is hard to tell though and I'm no expert. Maybe others will chime in.

Looking at it more I guess it could be male. Can you take another picture. It's a little blurry in the middle.

Looks like possibly a male because one claw looks a little bigger than the other which is a indication it’s a male.. need a picture of the other end for better ID

You have to look at the abdominal plate. Im not sure if a molt will be able to determine sex, as they come out of the back of the exoskeleton right at the abdominal plate. It may still be intact enough. Males have a thin point and females have a rounded triangle. Claw and body size differs but cannot be used to determine sex. Abdominal plate is 100% effective.

You shouldn't have a problem if the tank is large enough to support it.

I think they both would want to occupy the rock flower corner, that's why it would be nice if they can get along
