The whole manual is in Japanese so I have no idea if its correct or not. Please before I break this thing let me know if it looks correct or how to UNSTICK this tubing

Thank you

What's going on? Can't get the siphon to start because you can't get the water over the hump? Stick a air line hosing all the way up through to the other side. Start the line on the outside and work your way towards inside the tank. Start sucking on the airline tube and as the water starts coming up slowly start pulling the airline tube out. You have to keep the airline tube ahead of the water or you'll have to start all over and you'll have a mouth full of SW.

no sorry im talking about the vinyl tubing that connects the glass pieces together, they are literally stuck together unless you can get some water in between the glass and the vinyl. I would like to unstick them so I can adjust the gap between the top and bottom pieces. The manual I THINK states the left in right need to be at the same height (see pic).

First get it nice and warm, a hair dryer perhaps
take a flat blade screwdriver and push up on the lip of the vinyl tubing. Try not to get under it as that may break the glass.
Eventually you will start to break the glass bond to the vinyl

Oh I misunderstood sorry! I see what your saying you need the lower the friction between the glass and vinyl, which water usually does. I gotcha now! Get some olive oil and use that get it between the glass and vinyl. The olive oil will be a better lubricant than water. Try to wiggle vinyl tube back and forth to work the olive oil down. With some time and sure frustration, you should be should see the olive oil star to work its way father down and get be able to get it apart. Add more olive oil through out the wiggling process as needed. Then just clean everything good with some dawn soap, rinse well in some RO/DI water and your good to go. Olive oil won't harm the tank if for some reason you miss some in cleaning. Plus it's water insoluble so like I said by freak chance you miss some it'll float at the surface of the water and at that point you use a paper towel and dap it off the surface. Hope that works out for you.

This may also work. Give it a try, don't touch the flat head on the glass that glass isn't the best of quality it'll break. If that doesn't work then try my method. If the hair drier works great then you won't have a mess to clean up. If it doesn't then given mine idea a try. One of the two should work.
