You don’t agree with it, but it’s exactly what you did for your mandarin.
I don't agree with them being difficult to care for in a small tank. All of my other fish also eat 2-3x/day and when the mandarin also eats pellets and shrimp, not just pods it's zero extra work. That's all I was saying.
