Well, the thing is that I don't have another tank and I could use a bucket but I don't have another heater, powerhead or filter to use :(

All you need is a heater, air stone with air pump and a bucket. But that's ok, it's just a suggestion :)

Can you try target feeding her with a turkey Baster? That's how mine started eating froxen foods and worms when I got her. Or maybe you've already tried that?

I have tries that and right now the turkey baster scares her but I am going to keep trying it until she gets used to it.

I really think it's a he just from the first picture. gotta see that dorsal fin better. Aside from that, it looks ok, color is a little off, not fat but not emaciated yet. If it makes it makes it through QT for you, the question will be if the tank has enough pods to support it and if it will start eating for you. Definitely try all tricks that will be suggested for you to get him eating no matter what.

Eh. I can't see it very well. Your probably right anyway. The top part of the dorsal should be rounded in a female and have a sharp point for a male.

When i first got my mandarins, they had to go through the stress of qt. The first couple days they werent much active untill i added a light to the qt. Then theyd start comming out when the lights are on, then hover when their off. I fed them live brine for a couple days, then i mixed the live with frozen brine, then now they eat w.e i give them

I added tibse to the tank but I have all types because I used live rock. I have amphiopods, isopods, tibse pods and tigger pods

I don't think she is sick. She is starving. They need to be in tanks with lots of live rock and sand so they can pick all day. You also need to be careful what kind of pods you add because some of them will not reproduce in tanks.

I know that the need lots of live rock and pods. I just wanted to train her to eat frozen foods so that I wouldn't have to add pods every week. It is easier to train them in a QT tank because there is no other competition for food
