Yeah it’s growing like crazy, actually planing to soon introduce it to my reef tank.
Imo, the brown is normal. Mangroves occasionally drop leaves, I lose several a months, however it’s always older, lower leaves on the tree.
Since you're misting daily and dosing nutrients, you’re already covering a lot of the key care needs. Mangroves are pretty hardy, but they can get a little fussy about things like lighting intensity or salt creep on leaves, so be sure to gently wipe them down now and then.I’ve had this mangrove for about 5 months, and have noticed some browning leafs on one of the leafs, what could this be? It’s not planted in a reed yet, I mist it everyday and dose nutrients for water growing plants. don’t really know if this is the right place for the discussion. For healthy mangrove growth in an aquarium or refugium, use full-spectrum LED grow lights with 12–16 hours of exposure daily. Keep lighting strong but not too intense to avoid stress and position seedlings close to the light source. This helps ensure strong roots and vibrant leaves.
Thanks. I have success with 10 hours, 3000 to 5000k lights and 165 watt LEDs. I recently, 2 months ago, increased power to get more light to the lower leaves and get better spread.
