Another question for you Manny, would you be able to show a full shot of your sump? I know you removed the first filter sock holder for your clarisea, but I am curious if you removed the second filter sock holder as well, and what you are using that space for if anything? Thanks!!

I did not remove the second filter sock holder. I just put more rocks and media in that section along with a bag of carbon

I just wanted to say thank you for the ideas in building my 190.5. Following a similar approarch. It's a slow process and the info you shared helped in some of questions I was internally trying to figure out.

How difficult did you find putting the rollermat in and what steps did you take to do it? And have you had any issues with more flow than reccomended for the roller?

The roller has been flawless so far. More flow through it actually makes it more efficient. After moving the first sock holder which was a pain to do. The plumbing was the other difficulty. Now it’s so easy to maintain cause I don’t need to remove anything to replace the roll

Awsome, so you removed the first filter sock holder with a razor and plumbed the roller in. How did you support it so it dosnt lean etc

Today was a busy day.
Set up the tank. Took four people to move it onto the stand. Then I siliconed the bare bottom starboard. Then the lights. Then the scape. Then the plumbing had to be modified to hook up to the clarisea filter roll. Almost ready for water!

Thank you for this build. Where did you get those suction cup handles? I'm afraid of them popping off, but also need to lift my tank soon. Any suggestions on using them or which to use/where to get them?

Got them on amazon. Just bought lots of extra but they aren’t completely necessary. They did make the job a lot easier

How is your Clarisea fleece roller holding up? I have a 190.5 and finally tired of changing socks every 3 days. I saw you installed it in the first return chamber. Did you have to plum piping to it in that chamber? Also do you foresee any issues if i put it in the second chamber since my sump is already running and I don't feel like reaching all the way back there?
