I was wondering how many people went this route and if it was worth it. I'm pretty much set on going with tampa bay saltwater, but I know a couple people who have had a hard time dealing with isopods and mantis shrimp. Does the increased biodiversity justify the risk?

I haven't had many problems

what kind of issues did you have? Do you think 4-6 weeks with no fish or coral would be enough time to ensure that everything is caught and any red bugs or AEFW are done for?

The biggest issues I had was with water salinity was low and learning my own ph balance water is the biggest key and I had no problems other then that and which fish can go together and what type of tank I wanted like I didn't know it mattered and I put in a aggressive fish in once and loss some fish and when my salinity was off I loss 2000 in fish
