Sadly the snails have eaten most of the plants lol. It’s kind of bare now compared to a month ago.I like the planted tank.
They are rams horns and were meant for a puffer that hasn’t worked out for me. I have been culling as many as a can and freezing them for when I am ready to try a puffer again. ;SmuggrinYou need to pick those out. Some snails are bad for planted tanks.
Awesome! I have a twenty gallon planted and a 20gallon saltwater. The saltwater I’m struggling with at the moment. Really hoping my nem makes it through whatever is going on.20 years ago I had a beautiful 29g planted tank with 12 cardinal and 12 rummy nose tetras and a few other types. It was so rewarding to sit and watch the plants sway and grow. The small tetras schooled together. It was easy and enjoyable. Went to saltwater and it keeps me busy so I haven't set up another planted since but I have always thought about doing it again. Next time I will keep discus in it. I used to have a few breeding pairs of those.
