This tank is coming along faster than I wanted but here it is. I started it Feb 12 of 2022. I tore down my 14 gallon tank and added it's livestock to this tank and then a few more critters. As I write I am leak testing a new Pentair Smart UV. The pics are taken with lights out so you won't see much but at least I have some fodder for your eye balls in the mean time.

The tank is a 38 gallon Fiji AIO. Even though it has a couple of HOB's I deal with it.

Equipment incudes:
Pentair 18W UV (for parasite and disease prevention measures)
Icecap Nano skimmer (well you know what for...)
Radion XR15 G5 Pro (1 ea)
Reef Breeders ATO
Fiji Cube HOB refugium (hope to make a pod factory here and also houses a pc of Microbacter's Xport NO3 brick)
Jebao SOW-3 Wave Maker (small tank, small wave maker)

Livestock at the present time:
Pajama Cardinal
Fire Shrimp
Striped Blenny
Carpet Anenome
Rock Flower Anenome
3 Nassarius snails
Purple Dottyback
a few corals

I was going to post some daytime/lights on pics but they would not be worth posting. I will have to get some camera filters. I tried turning up my white lighting and my tank turn golden brown! I should have a microscope on the front porch to see what is going on. I will be using resources here and Mack's Reef Dino page on Facebook. Less than 1 day of a water change with different salt mix and corals are already reacting positively. My DI resin filter looked good but I changed it anyway before I started the new salt. TDS is 1. Salt parameters will be checked later to let the water change settle out for now. Bring it on ugly stage!

Finally got around to some new tank shots. I got the carpet about 2 weeks ago where he went under the rocks. Now he went straight up to on top of the rock.

Anyone use the mastertronic

Right now I'm stuck between the

Mastertronic with dosetronic
Or
Apex system with trident and dos

Any thoughts as I have never used an automated system before but I want to

They seem to both be around the same price

I like the flexibility of the mastertronic
I like not having any probes
Hate having such a small supply of reagent

But I like the expandability of the apex system
Hate the probs as they take up room but like they save reagent
Like having bigger bottles of reagent

I need help lol

Both can be setup to do what I want so no real pro lem there
