Maroon Clownfish in 15 gallon?

Look, I know that Maroons are big and aggressive, so I won't be putting any of these little bad boys in my 20 gallon tank. I'm planning on putting a 16 gallon tank (well, 60 liters) in with a Condy anemone soon, and from what I've read this is probably one of the best suited to the Condy. Yes, I know, you'll probably tell me that the Maroons are demons, and I completely believe you, but the thing here is that their companions will be Damsels. If a Maroon is not possible here, do you think a Sebae, Tomato or Clarkii would be an option? Oh, something I forgot to mention is that maybe, just maybe, I'll add 2 Mollys.

That pretty small for them, i would definitely get a different fish/clownfish. But…if you must have them it has to be a fish only tank. they will turn on every other fish in that tank, especially another damsel.

And that goes for all the other fish you mentioned.

Well I think it should be a tank with only fish and a Condy anemone.

Of course, the tank will have hiding places for the Damsels.

You won’t have enough hiding places in a 15-gallon tank. Even if you did, the fish will want to come out occasionally, and when it does, it will likely get attacked instantly.

In my 10 gallon tank I occasionally had a hard time finding my own shrimp or corals. Well, do you know of any small species of Clownfish or other fish that would house the Condies? Honestly, Condies are beautiful and I wouldn't want to be without mine.

I think a maroon will get to big for a 15 gallon tank. I also think most clownfish avoid condy nems so it could be hit or miss with any of your options. I'm sure someone else with more expertise will chime in.

I had to place the extra maroons in small tanks with other fish.
We had to many inverts, so the condies went in with a few of the maroons
The next few days the maroons ate most of the other fishes
and then they ate the condies.

An ocellaris or percula clownfish could work, but most clownfish don’t typically host condylactis anemones. When they do, there’s a risk that the anemone might eat the clownfish.

Wait, are you serious? What I was worried about was that it would happen the other way around.

Too small for them. Issue isnt them eating other fish its the face females get to be 6-7 inches and males 4-5. Huge clownfish for a 16 gallon. 15 is the bare minimum for a regular clown not a monster like the maroon. You would need at least a 30 to comfortably house the maroon pair. Also condys really dont host clowns. Heard of a rando story here and there that people see it but that kind of nem isnt known to host clowns in general. Ps Ive had my maroon pair for about 2 years now. They were in a 125 gallon and then just moved to my 300.

Gladiators fight to the death in the Roman arena and some people gamble on the outcomes of these fish fights. This can be entertaining and as fun as Mike Tyson’s fight last night but even he had a Ref and medical staff to stop the match if it got serious.

I have seen a butterfly fish that beat trigger fish into submission!

If you want to set up an arena reef who am I to judge you for it? I put nudibranches in to eat Aiptasia alive in my tank.

just dont do it. maroons in a 15 can work for awhile but not with other fish and eventually they will need to be moved to a larger tank anyway. Usually 15 gallon tanks have like 3-4 very small and peaceful fish, which maroon clownfish are not.
I dont think it will eat them especially when small but will beat them to death if given the chance

Well, thanks a lot for your recommendations. I guess I'll just stick with one or two Ocellaris and figure out if it'll be a clown tank or a damsel tank.
