Maroun.c Frag setup

Wow, quite the setup! How do you like the razor and Orphek LED fixtures? How do they compare to each other and other popular LED fixtures (like radions, Hydra, etc..)? I'm old school I guess; I switched to LED (used the photon 48" fixture by reefbreeders) and wasn't too impressed, but I think this is due to me not knowing how to properly adjust the lighting and/or the fixture I used lacked vital colors from the lighting spectrum. I reverted back to halides and T5, and recently added on some reefbrite XHOs which has worked wonderfully. I just really need to figure out how to go all LED (for all the savings and LED is the future in my opinion). Anyways, thanks for the response and I look forward to future updates and pictures!!

Am still a Halide person myself. My DT is still running with 3 x 250 W Halides in lumenbright pendants and dimmable lumatek ballasts. I use phoenix 14K and used to supplement with 8 T5s till recently when stores recently stopped getting T5 Here so ended up adding couple of orpheks between the halides for actinic, still had a bit of a shadow on the corners so added a couple of razors. Guess I get the best of both worlds like this.
Went super slow with acclimation and getting decent growth and colors.
Orpheks are very nice I love the spread on them. still was impressed by razor on my frag tank ill try to find a picture of the coral colors under it. Growth is not super fast but acceptable.
