Ok, here my idea. My tank drains 25 gallons when I tune off the return. Almost a 400g up stairs with 380 gallons of sump.
I put the skimmer delay plug from BRS. Ran on my Tunze ATO rodi water. Than run another ATO same Tunze but with the bigger pump adapter. As the return is turned off the 25g or so is flooded out to the drain.
Than as power is turned on the new salt fills it before the ATO kicks with the 10 minute delay on.

Sounds like a good idea...would it be easier to make some siphon breaks so the sump could handle what overflows?
