I have a derasa I have had for almost 10 years. I got it when it was 2” long. Now it’s about the size of a bowling ball and needs to find a new home.
I am in central Florida, in Lakeland. Willing to drive to meet up. It’s a nice, healthy clam. It’s also half covered in zoanthids. Not sure about pricing this guy. Maybe $200? Not shipping...

That’s a beaut. You could get 3-4x that easily. 2-3 in ones go for $3-400.

Now you tell me how you ship this giant guy and not it dying.
i was shipped a 10" blue squamosa from austin aquafarms and it was fine. All u need is a big bag, enough water to cover clam and a big box with 35hr heat packs. Have your local fish store help u out

That's just mind-blowing! I couldn't even imagine that living. If it worked, that's awesome! I've only known large clams are very tricky to ship because of the water change in the box that happens.

That’s awesome. Too far away, and even of free (which $200 basically is) I would be terrified that the tank transfer would go poorly, and it would die.

And shipping? No no no
