About 2 1/2" expanded. I measured through the glass so it may be a touch bigger or smaller.

Yea I just use the terms that were used on me to buy it. Plus in my eyes it is a master piece. What you can;t see in the pic is that the red streaks are actual red and orange streaks mixed. Didnt come out in the pics. The only reason I am selling is I already have one similar and I am raising a little extra cash for MACNA and R2R. If I don't sell it then I will be happy to keep it.
