I have been running a alkatronic and mastertronic for years, relying on my alkatronic for alk testing,My motherboard was fried this week due to a leak,,,450 to replace the board,,,,filled my mastertronic with salient alk test and thinking of not fixing the alkatronic,,,anyone test alk with mastertronic? Thoughts

Bumping your post!

Yes. It works. I don’t have the alkatronic to compare it to. The one drawback with alk is with how often I test- I run thru the usable portion of the vial quickly.

I run both Alkatronic test DKH at 8.42 recently calibrated probe and pump
Mastertronic using red sea pro is telling me less than 5.60 DKH ( usually don't get stable measurements from it) and Neptune trident 7.33 dkh recently calibrated as well.
Also tested with a Haanna checker a week ago and had 9.1
I see the 3 are pretty close Mastertronic is off a lot don't know if it is a bad reagent
hope this helps
