I’m considering a remodel of some of my system. With the new remodel, I would end up with my skimmer being exposed to bright light. I have high nutrients and also grow coraline algae very quickly so the skimmer being exposed to bright light seems like trouble or at least an increase in maintenance.
Does anyone know of a reef-safe material that I could use to wrap the body of my skimmer to prevent light from shining in the skimmer and promoting algae growth inside it?
