Matt V rainbow envy

Good morning everyone, I just got a frag of Matt V rainbow envy and just wondering if anyone has any mini colony/ colony pics of it growing in your tank... also advice on if it is a good grower or not and par level

Here was mine right before I lost it. Rtn'd completely a few days after the street in front of the house was re-tarred. Not sure on the par, but it was sitting about 20 inches under a 250w Radium. It was one of the nicest tenuis' in the tank. The picture was taken when all the lights were on.

ya i need more details, was your well contaminated from ground water? are you running a skimmer line outside to boost ph??

Tar is no good for reef tank! By incidentally leaving the skimmer on I think it drew in all kinds of nasties (eq. phenols, and PAHs). Whatever it was I cleaned it up with running polyfilters and carbon. You could tell by just looking at the sps...they were not happy.

Anyway, not to get off subject, lets see some more MattV REs.

Was looking back at old pics and found the original frag video of this colony. Has been a bit of a slow grower. We got it back in June 2022 and this pic was taken around june 2024 (frag on the right)

Mine grew like crazy under my old light but has stalled for the last year since I switched to the G6 blues. In fact everything has stalled.
