I'm wishing I never bought max aspect Gyre 350 pumps. I have a 220 gallon tank with 2 of them and 2 MP40s. I've had to replace both Gyres because they died.. Then the control died also. I bought I hydros controller so I could run the 2 newer pumps since max aspect wouldnt sell just a new controller. Now I have been having problems with tank and I started losing interest because I couldnt figure it out... Then I realized one of the pumps wasn't working yet again! I tore it apart and found the inside round magnet that spins is buldging and rusting! Leaking contaminates into my tank! Anyone else have issues with these? I cant believe I've gone through 4 of these things and they are ruining my tank. I should never have bought Max Aspect products.

I use the Jebao gyres as they are cheap to replace. Almost 3 to 1.

The 4 I have now have been running 5 years.

Nothing in them rusts.

You’d expect the brand name would perform better.
Heard this before.

Not all the stuff made overseas is crap, getting better every year I think.
