Maxima clam care

Hello guys, Im planning to get a clam, but my lfs only shells Maximas, same with the shops of my country, only maxima, not derasa, and I need to buy the Maxima if I wanna a clam, which is the care of one? my halichoeres crhysus will eat it? any information will help me a lot
