Sweet! Found out quickly they don’t like acro levels of flow, but they like the light.

Thank you. speaking of unknown predators, I removed all peppermint shrimp from the display and sumped them because I read conflicting info on if they predate clams… if so what are alternative clam safe aptasia control?

I noticed a bump up in po4 after adding phyto is mine dead?! Bottle says live and it’s not expired…
There can be some residual media / "fertilizer" leftover from growth in the phyto culture, depending on how it was grown and packaged. IME not a concern, especially if you're adding on the scale of 1ml phyto / L tank.

Probably less than that to be honest but po4 went from .1 to .2 which is quite the jump imo, slightly concerning. Wonder what it is

Anything else? They’d get snacked on by my fish.
They're pretty good at getting some work done even with aggressive fish. Add them after lights out, preferably nearest your aiptasia growth. You also have filefish and f aiptasia as options

So filefish won’t nip at mantle correct? That was my main concern with them. That and they eat lps heads sometimes and I got some nice ones :/ seems like my hands r gonna be in the tank a lot now lol

I mean they may, but you're quickly running out of options here.
