Hey people, starting a build thread for my fluval flex 32.5 I've had sitting in my garage for a year, payed 100 dollars and came with some purple rock, currently have the scape built, and ordered some live sand, Dr. Tims 30 gallon cycle kit, media, and I have water for it! My scape is not very good im aware, but I did my best and I like it!

Equitment:
Stock pump

2 DIY media baskets made out of plexi glass im building ( copied inTank design, but it was free eith help from my dad who is a carpenter and pretty handy)

125 watt eheim heater

A 425 gph hyger powerhead

Ordering a SW series wavemaker by Jebao

All running on a digital aquatics powerstrip thing with a bunch of features and stuff

Stocking:

3 clowns ( 3 different morphs i think they'll still get along)

A diamond head or orange spot sand sifter goby

A wheelers goby

A yellow clown or gumdrop goby

A flashers or 6 line wrasse

Clean up crew assorted

A bubble tip nem I plan on letting get very large

Several mini maxi carpet anenomes

I don't know what corals I want yet, but I want a good bit of em, mostly softies, put perhaps some euphilia, such as torches and hammers, and some other lps!

The tank is gonna be in my room on a low dresser that my dad reinforced for me! I'll try to update on when things happen

So my stocking list looks like this currently:

Assorted CUC
1 ocellaris clownfish
Mccoskers flasher wrasse
Royal grammar or fire fish
Wheelers goby
Diamond head or sand sifter goby
Yellow clown
A couple of nems
Lps and soft corals
Possibly a nudibranch? Have to do some research on them first!

Now officially cycled, I added my first fish in a war paint goby! Going to add my clowns and wheelers tommorow,

My CUC consists of

2 cerith snails
5 nassarius
4 cerith snails
3 blue legged hermits

The diatoms have been eaten and everything seems happy, very tempted to mess with my scape though!

I wouldn’t add four fish to a just cycled tank in just a few days. Especially if you’re not quarantining. I would wait a week or two, add either the clowns or the wheelers, and then a couple weeks after that, add whichever you didn’t add previously. You want to give your tank time to establish a robust biological filter, adding in four fish to a just cycled tank is just asking for trouble (especially if you started with dry rock).
