I'm in need of an extension cable for a Maxspect XF350 Gyre. These have been out of stock for a long time and I'm wondering if they'll ever be available again.

If anyone knows a source, please let me know.

I don't think this cable is compatible. I've attached the image of the Maxspect connectors. You'll notice the three pins are isolated in separate chambers and it won't allow a solid connector to enter.

BRS, CoralVue outlet and parts store, both seem to have them in stock.
I checked Coralvue earlier this week and they showed cables for XF330/XF350 are still out of stock. I'm at the point where I doubt they intend to replenish stock at all. My LFS has been waiting for more since early 2025.

Unfortunately, I was promised cords would be avaliable in less than a week when I shelled out my hard earned cash for the 350 gyre. Had I known the truth, I had better options I would have gone with.

I feel the same way why make the cord proprietary only to not support your own products very disappointing.

Hi, retired electronics engineer here, they made the cables with a proprietary connector (not really proprietary they just have agreements with the manufacturer to not sell openly until a specific time has passed) there is a “new connector / pin” setup made regularly as the efficiency increases thru material science and manufacturing techniques . You can simply replace both the male and female connector and make your own. Mouser Electronics is a good source of the components. Mil spec components will be your best bet for durability. Call them and ask for tech support describe your issue and discuss your requirements they will have multiple solutions for you. The only issue for the non electronics peeps is the actual crimps for the individual pins. There are numerous crimpers out on the market. For this purpose since you aren’t commercially making cables the cheap Amazon versions would be fine, just buy enough pins ( they r cheap) to practice, once you crimp a pin on pull on the pin directly and flex it on the wire. If it stays solid you are good, alternatively and for peace of mind a small dot of solder will ensure a good connection.
Hope this helps, if you have questions reach out and I’ll assist you.
Regards
RJ

Rm190 I just noted you are in Dallas, mouser electronics is located there so you know. They don’t have retail that I’m aware of, I’ve always ordered and received my parts within a week.
