Maxspect Gyre Controller Compatability

I have a set of the older non cloud xf 350s. One of them is giving me issues constantly. Thinking of picking up a new one, but will the old controller work with one of the newer pumps. Also, will an old pump work with newer controller?

Some of them have a different plug end but the internal pins are the same. I was able to trim the outside of the newer plug end and make it fit.
