I have 180 gallon tank that I am going to be setting up and I have a Maxspect Gyre xf280 . I am trying to figure out if that is enough for flow in the tank or if I need another Maxspect Gyre xf280 to put in the other side of the tank.

I also have two Neptune WAV pumps I could use on one side and the gyre on the other side.

I would appreciate any help possible

I expect 1 gyre might be enough at full power, but that might also make a mess in the tank. Two probably makes more sense. But if I was you, I'd use what you already have on hand.

So you think I should just stick with the Neptune WAV pumps?

You already own them, why not use them? Water motion in the tank is just water motion. IMHO one wavemaker really isn't much better or worse than any other unit.
