I don’t like the side brackets nor do I wish to mount them from the ceiling, so I am looking at ways I could mount the razor on the rear glass like the hydras etc, I’ve thought about seeing if I could modify the rms rear mount.

Anyone have any suggestions to mounting the razors to the rear of my tank??

I would suggest a rear bracket that attaches to the back of the stand and comes up and over the tank from which you could hang your lights. You want to be careful with how much pressure you put on the glass so that's why I suggest attaching it to the stand.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
