I'm currently planning to sell my powerheads (Coralbox QP-9 and MP40) and replace them with Maxspect Gyres. I have a 4ft tank but would like to upgrade in the next year (looking around 180g). I'm thinking of either getting 2 XF330's or getting 1 XF350 then adding another either XF330 or XF350 after a tank upgrade.

Hoping someone with gyres can weigh in on this.

i bought 2 xf 330's for my tank. I have a 110 tall and only run them LTC mode with a max of 60% and they move some water
I'm thinking about getting 1 XF350 and seeing how it does in my 100g, i would think it would be more than enough, if needed i'd throw in a xf330 on the other side

I have 2 350s on a standard 90 in autosynch with a max of 30%. I could probably push it to 40%. That being said if you are really going to upgrade to a 180 I would think you would want 350s

I also have 2 350's on my Reefer XXL 750. I would go with the 350's even if you don't plan to upgrade just because eventually you will :) They are very nice and silent!

I ordered 2 xf330s, based on reviews and videos i've seen of the xf350s i'd have to run them at 20%-30% or i'd get a sandstorm. If I do upgrade to a 180 then i'd likely just pick up 2 350s and run 4 gyres. Additionally my tank is still mainly frags growing out, so not a lot to break up the flow.
