The 20 gallon nano just wasn't cutting it anymore so I'm stepping up to a 100 gallon. A good friend was getting out because of travel and no time so he made me a deal I couldn't pass on. It's 48x24x20 custom starfire glass with a 40ish gallon sump and custom stand.

He also had 100+lbs of base rock sitting in a Brute can for 2.5+ years "cooking" so I picked that up and his Vertex Alpha 170.

After having a few fish over the years jump I decided to make a custom top with screen frame from Ace Hardware.

Next step was some lights from a member on this forum and another we all know. 2 A360we with arms.

Funny enough the tank fit well in a basement closet. Behind is one of the unfinished areas and a great place to add some of the electrics and ato. I also had a friend (electrician) add a plug on its own 20amp breaker just for the tank. I have plans to close in the closet at some point just not sure what I want to do yet.

Its still very much a work in progress but I wanted to get this build thread started. The plan is to run a mostly softie tank with some LPS and very few if any sps. I have a few in the nano now that may make it over to this tank but I'm done buying sps for sure.

Updated full tank photo. Took one for the 365 thread but this is more true to color. I also added a Gyre 250 to the left side.
