Megabite's 180 Reef - Round 2

Everything looks fabulous!
Thanks Diana. I hate not getting notification when people post stuff on their threads. I just went to check yours out and saw the power was off for a while. I'm glad it's back and hope it didn't cause too much issues with everything like tank and food in the fridge and more.

Been there several times with power out for several days when living in Florida and hurricanes. It s u c k s.

Photo dump time as I haven't done one for a bit.

The Dino's continue kicking my ****. Got a few 10 micron socks and vacuumed the sand bid into it with the sock sitting in the sump. Got rid of a lot of Dinos reducing the population. Hopefully with the UV and other things I'm doing I can get these suckers under control.

On to the photos. Just took a bunch of random shots a few minutes ago.

Stunning pictures! That pink Goniopora picture looks amazing! I'd love to pick your brain about some issues I am having with my tank right now. Its still a new tank (first fish and live rock added in early June) but I am now getting crazy amounts of green hair algae everywhere (luckily nothing more I don't think) even though my nutrients are relatively low. I now have my phosphates around .09 and my Nitrates have been around 6 or below because I have been dosing Reef Nitrogen. If I don't dose the Reef Nitrogen, my tank bottoms out on Nitrates. I forgot to add the Reef Nitrogen for 2 days and it hit 0.0 on my Hanna Nitrate High Range. I feel like I either bottom out nutrients which I don't want or have crazy green hair algae everywhere. Is this normally something that sorts itself out? I am perfectly fine to just let it ride but I will post a picture because it has been a crazy amount of algae from a lower nutrient tank. I am just unsure because my last tank didn't have this issue. You can see a picture from just 3 days ago on my tank thread as well, this algae totally blew up in 3 days.
