melanurus wrasse clean other fish?

Interesting timing for this thread. I've never seen any of my wrasses clean another fish until today and it happen to also be my melanurus.

Yes though usually they help much bigger fish.

I've seen my lunar wrasse do it. From what I understand it's pretty common in the wrasse family.
Be warned. Thalassoma wrasse like to pluck eyes and eat them.

lol what weird timing. how old is yours? i got mine in 2020. hes the biggest in my tank, but he seems gentle always
I don't quite remember. I think 2019 I got mine.

He plucked at my Multi Colored Dwarf Angel. So, it wasn't a huge fish by any means.

Otherwise, he always absolutely ignores all the other fish. He's got work to do. Always scanning the rocks.
