Hi all. This is going to be my venture into the realm of building a stand and canopy for my new Aqueon standard 180g tank with dual mega overflows.
I'm going to try and include as many pictures as possible for my records as well as any helpful input they may generate. Also because we all love pics... Without pics, it didn't happen.

First thing is to dump those durso drains (in that box) and build this as 2 independent Herbie full siphon overflows with either over the back or drill through the tank for returns.

Also just FYI: Your tank warranty is void if you make your own stand. You should definitely still make your own stand, just sayin'.

ReeferBob, thanks for the info. I will definitely be looking into this idea. Don't want to drill the tank so OTB would work. If it's going to keep things quiet, I'm all for it. Plus, so will the wife.

Bob, question for you. Are you using your return line as a spray bar/ manifold for flow in the DT?

Do you have an idea for a canopy yet? If not @Flippers4pups has a great one for a 125g that could be adjusted to a 180g, and it accommodates an over the back return.

It's been a while since I've updated the build. A lot has happened. Good thing I have some pics to remind me. I'll be updating soon.
