Mesh Tops and Bow Front Tanks?

Two questions.

Has anyone made the clear mesh tops for a bow front tank? Will the window screen rails bend to the arch of the tank and still be useable?

Also has any been able to make it where you can open just part of it to feed without taking the whole thing off? I ask because I know for a fact if I took it off even for a min or two my cats would think it was a cool climbing thing...lol
