Metal stands!

Sorry not sure who this is directed at but the one I built came out to about $325 that's with some money in my pocket of course! :-) that stand was for a 100g w/ a FP of 40x24.

if you ditched the 4 extra legs it would cut the cost down quite abit :D

Thanks! Ok so here we go on the next one. The dims are 108.25x30.25 x40 tall. Here are some pics. One is the cut list for all the 2x2 stock the pile is what's left over from the 4-20's I cut up. The second pic is the top and bottom of the stand.

I too am a welder. I'm kinda partial to the idea of a powdercoated metal stand, with a riser to hang your light from, welded on to it :)
 
Here is it finished. This one has a nifty light bar that holds AIs. It will swing completely out of the way so you can get into the tank.
