I have a nice colony of "astroturf" goniopora from ReefGen. This is a fluffy mint green encrusting variety that has grown well for me- polyps are about 1 centimeter long and total colony size 4-5 inches.

Approaching it is a wavefront of cyphastrea- meteor shower or similar looking type.

Should I worry- of can the goni fend for itself?

If its a micro Goni, it will win and annihilate most other corals in its path. If it’s standard flowerplot it will loose
